SCIENTIST (INNOVATION & BREAKTHROUGH PRODUCTS))

OVERVIEW :

The Head of Innovation leads the development of revolutionary, commercially successful glove products, focused on material innovation, cost efficiency, performance enhancement, and new features while managing and developing a high-performing team.

Job Responsibilities:

1\. Develop and execute the company’s innovation strategy with a strong focus on material innovation.

2\. Lead and mentor the innovation team, building a high-performing and collaborative culture.

3\. Drive research and development of new materials that improve performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

4\. Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities without compromising product quality.

5\. Enhance product performance and introduce new features aligned with evolving customer needs.

6\. Ensure innovation projects are commercially viable and aligned with market demands and business goals.

7\. Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, sales, and marketing to ensure successful product development and launches.

8\. Engage with external partners (universities, research institutions, suppliers) to leverage technology and expertise.

9\. Manage multiple innovation projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and on-budget delivery.

10\. Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement in innovation processes and project outcomes.

Job Requirements

1\. Ph.D in (Chemistry)/(Polymer Science)/(Material Science)/(Polymer Engineering)/ (Material Engineering)/(Applied Chemistry) or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience

2\. Minimum 15 years of experience in R\&D, product development, or innovation roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.

3\. Proven track record of delivering innovative products that have achieved significant commercial success, preferably in the healthcare industry.
