Work Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Compensation \& Benefits

Pay Range: 100,000-130,000-per year

Incentive Pay: Commission

The Role:

The Director of Sales is responsible for driving growth across traditional grocery, specialty retail, brokers, and distributors. This role leads strategic initiatives, executes sales plans, and builds strong customer relationships to expand FoodStory Brands’ portfolio across branded, private label, and licensed products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage relationships with regional and national retailers, distributors, and brokers.
  • Own a key channel or category and develop tailored strategies for growth.
  • Develop and execute trade promotion schedules.
  • Manage deductions and ensure accurate resolution.
  • Oversee distributor programs.
  • Lead new item presentations and commercialization.
  • Conduct store visits, ride-alongs, and sales calls.
  • Manage broker performance and contracts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential for future team management.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5\+ years of experience in CPG sales.
  • Proven ability to grow sales across retail, distributor, and specialty channels.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of pricing, promotions, and P\&L dynamics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing brokers or specialty distributors.
  • Experience leading new product launches.
  • Knowledge of private label or licensed brands.

Work Environment \& Physical Requirements

  • Combination of office, remote, and customer-site work.
  • Frequent travel required.
