Job Description
Satori is growing! Hiring a detail-oriented Environmental Technician to join our Anchorage-based team. This is an early-career role that offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced environmental professionals, supporting site investigations, hazardous material assessments, sampling, and technical writing. You will play a key part in collecting environmental data, interpreting regulations, analytical results, interfacing with the public and contributing to the delivery of high-quality consulting services. This position requires a strong work ethic, initiative, and the ability to work independently both in the field and an office setting.
- Conduct environmental site assessments and hazardous building material surveys (asbestos, lead, mold, etc.)
- Collect samples, perform field inspections and document site conditions
- Author clear, accurate technical reports and regulatory documentation within assigned submission deadlines
- Apply environmental regulations and best practices in the field
- Follow all job site health and safety protocols
- Travel to project sites throughout Alaska
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (4\+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- Experience working in a professional, office-based role
- Articulate communicator, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated and ambitious, with the ability to work independent and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel and Word
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel as needed
