Senior Data Analyst

Day to Day:

A client is hiring a seasoned Data Analyst to own end‑to‑end analytics delivery for a high‑visibility Amazon Warehouse Operations Account. On a daily basis, you will partner directly withwarehouse operations, finance, and leadership teams to understand real operational challenges, not just requested reports, and translate those needs into impactful analytics solutions. You will spend time embedded with operations teams both virtually and in person through periodic on‑site visits, to understand the overall operation. Some examples of data you could be reporting on includes throughput issues, staffing constraints, inventory flow, and labor optimization opportunities. Rather than simply responding to asks, you will proactively identify problems, push back when a dashboard is not the right solution, and design insights that bring value.

Required Experience

• 7\+ years of relevant experience, Expert‑level experience building Power BI dashboards from scratch
• Strong Power BI DAX skills (advanced measures, calculations, optimization)
• Advanced SQL experience, Hands‑on experience with: Azure Data Factory, SQL Services, Azure DevOps
• Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines
• Fundamental understanding of logistics/ warehouse operations and WMS
• Experience working directly with warehouse operations teams, not just technical stakeholders
• Ability to gather requirements, challenge assumptions, and design the right solution, Strong problem‑solving skills with the confidence to push back when needed
• Experience delivering training and supporting analytics products post‑launch
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast‑moving, customer‑driven environments
• Willingness to travel periodically to warehouse sites
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – this is not a heads down developer role, there is a lot required of this role when it comes to being business facing

• Experience with AI / Copilot technologies, including: Copilot Studio agents, Microsoft 365 Copilot agents, Prompting insights from requirements or call transcripts
