Role: QA Engineer
Location: Burgess Hill
Job Type: Permanent
Number of hours: 40 hours per week – full time
The Role
This Automation Engineers role is the requirement for our client in the financial industry, where you'll have access to develop automated testing scripts, frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure software quality and speed in a fast-paced fintech environment. They focus on designing robust test automation (functional, API, UI), supporting Agile delivery.

Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) for script development
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Postman)
- Have good knowledge of Microservices architecture
- Have worked and have sound knowledge in database concepts with experience over MySQL, Oracle and Couchbase.
- Knowledge of tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar for automated workflows
- Strong root cause analysis (RCA) abilities to identify, document, and track software defects
- Proven experience working within Scrum or Agile methodologies
- Must have good experience TOKENIZATION domain and CRYPTOGRAM tech stack
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Have good knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit and system testing.
- Have good debugging skills.
- Proficient with Git commands.
- Have good command on basic and regularly used Unix commands with exposure to Shell Scripting.
- Experience in Code re-usability \& Optimization
