Job Description

Description:

Digital Envoy (DE) has been the leader in IP geolocation and VPN Intelligence for more than 25 years, serving customers across Streaming Media, AdTech, Cybersecurity, E-commerce, and Data Analytics. Our industry-leading solutions power organizations including Netflix, Hulu, The Trade Desk, PayPal, AWS, Apple, and many others.

Digital Envoy is hiring a Product Manager to own the strategy and roadmap for our core IP Intelligence and geolocation product line, the products our customers depend on most. This is a senior individual contributor role, reporting to the SVP of Product Management, for someone who wants the scope of a product leader without managing people.

You will define the multi-quarter roadmap, market positioning, and business case for our flagship geolocation and IP Intelligence products, then partner closely with engineering and data analytics teams to turn that strategy into delivery. Digital Envoy's AI strategy is defined at the organizational level; your job is to understand it deeply enough to apply it well, translating what AI can and can't do into a roadmap grounded in reality, and using AI tools to work faster and think sharper.

This role suits someone who wants deep, end-to-end ownership of a single high-stakes product line that is already the market leader, and who can move fluidly between a competitive positioning conversation with leadership, a data quality debate with an analyst, and a roadmap trade-off discussion with engineering.

This person can work remotely from any of the following states: California (CA), Colorado (CO), Connecticut (CT), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Kentucky (KY), Massachusetts (MA), Michigan (MI), New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ), North Carolina (NC), Pennsylvania (PA), South Carolina (SC), Tennessee (TN), Texas (TX), Virginia (VA), Washington (WA).

Georgia residents are encouraged and welcomed to join us a couple days/week in our Peachtree Corners, Georgia office.

Please note, at this time, Digital Envoy is not sponsoring visas for this position.

What You'll Do:

Product Strategy \& Roadmap

  • Own the multi-quarter roadmap and business case for Digital Envoy's core IP Intelligence and geolocation data products.
  • Translate market opportunities, customer needs, and the product team's vision into a prioritized roadmap engineering can execute against.
  • Create clear, specific product requirements, developed in partnership with engineering and GTM stakeholders.
  • Make the strategic trade-off calls (build vs. buy, depth vs. breadth, new capability vs. hardening) that shape where the product goes next.
  • Define pricing and packaging input for new capabilities in partnership with leadership and go-to-market teams.
  • Partner with Marketing to identify feature launch requirements and help build the right collateral.
  • Communicate and train stakeholders across Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Tech Support on product capabilities.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with engineering leads to translating roadmap priorities into well-scoped delivery, without owning day-to-day sprint mechanics yourself.
  • Partner with data science and data analytics to understand data quality constraints and fold them into the roadmap.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and the market, grounding every roadmap decision in evidence, not opinion.
  • Brief leadership regularly on strategy, roadmap progress, risks, and trade-offs, functioning as a trusted peer-level partner rather than a reporting layer.

Customer \& Market Insight

  • Stay close to how customers use IP Intelligence and geolocation data, through support tickets, sales calls, competitive deep dives, and direct conversations.
  • Track competitive and market movement in IP Intelligence, geolocation, and adjacent data categories, and translate it into roadmap and positioning decisions.
  • Turn qualitative and quantitative signal into a roadmap that reflects real customer and business value, not just internal opinion.

Metrics \& Business Impact

  • Identify, define, and track the product metrics that matter (accuracy, coverage, adoption, revenue impact) in dashboards you build and own, and know which ones are moving and why.
  • Build reporting that shows leadership and stakeholders exactly where the product and its roadmap stand.
  • Hold a high bar for data quality and reproducibility, consistent with Digital Envoy's identity as a precision data company

Requirements:

Who You Are:

  • 10\+ years in product management, with a track record of owning a product's strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes end-to-end at a senior or staff level.
  • Demonstrated experience as an individual-contributor product leader, comfortable operating at senior scope without direct reports.
  • Experience with data products, B2B SaaS, or infrastructure/API products; direct experience with IP Intelligence, geolocation, or network data is a strong plus.
  • Adept at working with AI-powered features and tools already in the product, understanding their capabilities and limits well enough to make sound roadmap and data decisions.
  • Fluency partnering with engineering on delivery, translating strategy into scoped, executable work.

Technical Depth

  • Comfortable working with SQL and AI tools like Claude and reading data directly to make product decisions.
  • Working knowledge of how machine learning and LLM-based systems are trained, evaluated, and where they fail.
  • Familiarity with data quality frameworks and semantic data modeling as they apply to geospatial or network data.
  • Enough technical fluency to have a credible, detailed conversation with engineers about system design and trade-offs.

Core Competencies: Product experience gets a candidate in the door. These are the skills that will make you successful here.

  • Data Analysis: works directly in the data, thinks like an analyst and works like a product manager, converts analysis into charts and tables that drive decisions, and uses data to test assumptions and settle debates.
  • Problem Solving: breaks an ambiguous, cross-functional problem into a clear diagnosis before jumping to a solution, digs in alongside engineers and analysts, and puts themselves in the customer's shoes to find what solves the need.
  • Communication: translates complex data and technical concepts into plain language, writes clearly (a roadmap rationale, a trade-off memo, a customer explanation) without losing precision, and adjusts the message to the audience without changing the substance.
  • Ownership \& Accountability: treats the roadmap and its outcomes as personally owned, follows through and surfaces problems early, and holds themselves to the same evidence-based bar they'd hold anyone else to.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Competitive Salary \& Bonus program
  • Medical, Dental and Vision
  • Paid Holidays \& Unlimited PTO policy
  • 401(k) with employer contribution match
  • We value your input: make a real impact in a growing company!
