Role Description
This is a full time, in-person position at our office in Columbus Circle, NYC. The Architectural Designer II will be responsible for creating architectural and construction drawings, material mood boards and presentations, specification development, client engagement and meetings, architectural design, drawing, and fabrication oversight. This is an exciting and dynamic role requiring both computer focus and field experience.
This role is focused on interior gut renovations of New York City's single family apartments. The majority of our projects are in Pre-War buildings.
Qualifications
· Advanced skills in Architecture, Construction Drawings, and Architectural Design
· Experience in Construction Administration, and Construction/Material Knowledge
· Strong attention to detail and ability to meet and manage multiple deadlines
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work collaboratively with a team
· Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
· Minimum 5 years experience in architecture or construction office doing design and construction drawing work
· Proficiency with relevant software: Advanced/Expert: Revit \& Enscape; Proficient: AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
· Strong 3D representation skills are important
· Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations with oversight from owner
Base Compensation: $90-100k/yr
