Role Overview

  • Provide direct treatment and care for clients following treatment plans and protocols developed by the Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Plan and implement client-centered treatment activities and tasks to support skill development and progress towards established treatment goals
  • Collect data and document progress towards established treatment goals
  • Collaborate with the supervising OT and parents/caregivers to support the therapeutic process and client progress
  • Complete succinct documentation of services in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
  • Active occupational therapy assistant license from the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (LVP) or the ability to obtain clearance card
  • Experience or interest in early intervention and treating developmental disabilities
  • Passion for continuous learning and development of professional skills and knowledge
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience or interest in feeding intervention is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Bilingualism is a plus!

Schedule

  • Tuesday - Thursday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Working Conditions

This position requires intermittent standing, lifting, kneeling, and sitting. In addition, this position may include working closely with clients who have mental, physical, and/or behavioral diagnoses and may be verbally or physically combative.

Salary: $33\.00 - $35\.00 per hour
