About The Role

STEM Engineers in India design, build, test, and optimize real-world engineering systems while supporting modern AI/ML development workflows across Rex.zone. In this remote, full-time role, you will collaborate with distributed engineering teams and contribute to data-driven product engineering, model-integrated systems, and quality-focused delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering solutions across analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance
• Contribute to systems and software engineering deliverables with clear acceptance criteria
• Support data engineering needs including pipelines, data validation, and reproducibility
• Implement quality assurance practices: test strategy, regression testing, and defect triage
• Participate in evaluation workflows (LLM evaluation, prompt evaluation, QA evaluation) as needed
• Improve training data quality via annotation guidelines compliance and feedback loops
• Collaborate with stakeholders across AI labs, tech startups, BPOs, and engineering vendors

Required Qualifications

• Mid-Senior experience in one or more STEM domains (software, systems, data, test, or platform engineering)
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into deliverable milestones
• Experience with QA practices and measurable quality metrics
• Preferred: familiarity with AI/ML evaluation workflows (RLHF, data labeling, prompt/QA evaluation)
• Strong written communication for documentation and technical reviews

Work Model

Remote-first, full-time role aligned to India-based candidates while supporting US-based operations with structured milestones and overlap hours as needed.

Compensation: $30–$50/hour.
