Job Description

About the Company

Mega Prime Foods is on a deliberate journey — not just to become the #1 sardine brand globally by 2030, but to build an organization worthy of that mission. We're in the middle of a cultural transformation: to build a God-honoring company that treats business as Kingdom stewardship

.

About the Role

Strategy is only as effective as the people who execute it.

We are looking for a Human Resource Business Partner who sees HR not as a support function, but as a strategic ministry of enabling people and leaders to flourish. This role is for someone who believes that organizational health drives business performance and that every people decision is an opportunity to shape culture, develop leaders, and advance the mission.

If you are energized by solving business problems through people solutions and partnering closely with leaders to build high-performing teams, this may be your calling.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational goals and priorities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on talent, performance, engagement, organizational design, and workforce planning
  • Drive performance management processes, ensuring accountability, development, and values alignment across teams
  • Lead employee relations initiatives and provide guidance on complex people matters
  • Identify organizational capability gaps and collaborate with Learning and Development to address them
  • Support succession planning and leadership development efforts across assigned business units
  • Analyze workforce trends and people metrics to provide data-driven recommendations to leadership
  • Champion culture-building initiatives that reinforce Mega's values and desired behaviors
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure critical roles are filled with high-quality talent
  • Lead change management efforts during organizational transformation and business growth
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, including business partnering or generalist responsibilities
  • Experience supporting leaders and employees in manufacturing, FMCG, or fast-paced operational environments preferred
  • Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and employee relations
  • Demonstrated experience influencing business leaders and driving organizational change

Required Skills

  • Values-driven: you believe people are not resources to be managed, but individuals to be developed and empowered
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect people initiatives to business outcomes
  • Excellent coaching, consulting, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution

Preferred Skills

  • You view HR as a strategic partner in building both organizational excellence and human flourishing
  • You have successfully partnered with leaders through periods of growth, transformation, or cultural change
  • You are skilled at using people analytics to influence decisions and improve outcomes
  • You can navigate difficult conversations with wisdom, courage, and empathy
  • You have worked closely with senior leaders and can confidently challenge and support them when needed

What You'll Find Here

A seat at the table where people and culture decisions matter. Direct partnership with leaders who believe business is stewardship. An opportunity to shape culture, strengthen teams, and help build an organization that honors God through excellence, service, and impact. A culture that prays together, fights for each other, and builds toward something bigger than market share.
