This role is about
owning performance creative as a function
- from strategy to production to systems to team.
You won’t just guide the work.
You’ll
build the machine behind it
.
That means:
- Writing briefs
- Pulling data from Ads Manager
- Managing creators
- Fixing broken workflows
- Leading clients
- Scaling the team
All at the same time.
This is a
player-coach role
, but more importantly, it’s an
operator role
.

THE OPPORTUNITY
You’ll step into a role designed to evolve into full ownership of the performance creative function.
- Start by co-leading alongside the CEO
- Transition into full ownership of creative, production, and systems
- Build the structure that allows the department to scale without losing quality
This is not a maintenance role - it’s a build \+ lead opportunity with a clear path to VP of Performance Creative.
WHAT THIS ROLE ACTUALLY IS
This is not a pure Creative Strategy role.
You will be responsible for scaling performance creative across:
- Creative strategy (hooks, concepts, briefs)
- Production (UGC pipeline, creators, output)
- Operations (systems, workflows, SOPs)
- Client management (calls, expectations, strategy)
- Team leadership (mentoring, hiring, accountability)
Think less “Head of Strategy”
More “Head of Performance Creative Operations”

WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Hands-On Creative Strategy
- Pull and analyze performance data directly from
Meta Ads Manager
(thumbstop, hold rate, hit rate, etc.)
- Write high-converting
UGC scripts, video briefs, and static concepts
- Identify insights that reshape creative direction and unlock new growth
Production \& Creative Operations
- Own the
end-to-end creative workflow
across multiple accounts
- Manage UGC pipelines: casting, briefing, production, and QC
- Build structured testing frameworks that compound learning over time
- Document SOPs, templates, and quality standards to scale output
Client Ownership
- Lead all
creative-only client relationships
- Translate performance into
business narratives tied to revenue, MER, and growth
- Partner with Growth Strategists on integrated accounts (creative × media alignment)
Team Leadership
- Manage senior strategists and editors through
hands-on coaching
- Lead by example: writing briefs, reviewing data, walking through decisions
- Own team performance and help scale the department through hiring and development
AI-Augmented Output
- Use tools like
ChatGPT and Claude
to accelerate research, ideation, and production
- Set the standard for
AI-driven creative workflows
across the team
WHO YOU ARE
- 5\+ years in creative strategy for performance marketing (Meta/TikTok focus)
- 2\+ years leading and developing creative teams
- Strong in
Ads Manager \+ creative analytics
- you validate instincts with data
- Proven track record of writing
high-converting briefs and scripts
- Comfortable leading client relationships and presenting strategy tied to business outcomes
- You build
systems, playbooks, and frameworks
- not just one-off solutions
STRONG SIGNALS
- Experience with tools like Motion, Foreplay, or CreativeOS
- Background in video editing or production (you give precise feedback)
- Advanced use of AI for creative workflows and research
- Experience in high-volume creative testing environments
