Our client, a well-established precast concrete manufacturer with a strong national footprint in drainage and water management products, is hiring a Plant Manager to lead its Clanton, Alabama facility. This is a full P\&L role reporting into senior divisional leadership — you'll own safety, production, quality, throughput, and people, with real authority to shape how the plant runs.

It's a great fit for an operations leader who likes being on the floor, knows how to develop a team, and wants the autonomy to drive results without layers of corporate friction.

What you'll own

• Day-to-day plant operations: production, quality, maintenance, shipping, inventory
• A zero-incident safety culture and full OSHA / environmental compliance
• Full plant P\&L — budgets, cost control, operational KPIs
• A team of supervisors, production staff, and support personnel — coaching, accountability, succession
• Capacity planning and new product launches in partnership with sales and engineering
• Continuous improvement initiatives (lean, 5S, standard work) and long-term asset health

What you'll bring

• 7\+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership, with 3\+ years as a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalent
• Direct experience in precast concrete, drainage products, pipe, ready-mix, aggregates, or a closely related heavy materials / building products environment
• A track record of P\&L ownership and delivering on safety, quality, and productivity targets
• Strong people leadership in a blue-collar environment (union or non-union)
• Working knowledge of lean and modern production systems
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field — or the equivalent earned on the floor
