Job Description

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Product Designer II - Design Systems to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $203,000 – $214,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the design system roadmap, prioritizing product needs and system health
  • Define and evolve system UX components, patterns, and accessibility defaults
  • Lead end-to-end token strategy, including theming and extensibility
  • Establish governance and lifecycle management with standards and review processes
  • Create implementation-aware specs with guidance and acceptance criteria
  • Build design enablement tools using structured knowledge models
  • Utilize AI tools to improve design processes and system evolution
  • Measure adoption and impact, reducing rework and accelerating system evolution

Qualifications

  • 6\+ years of experience in product design including design systems
  • Portfolio demonstrating design systems expertise and cross-platform consistency
  • Technical fluency with Figma libraries and Storybook
  • Hands-on experience with token pipelines such as CSS variables
  • Proven competency in accessibility standards (WCAG 2\.1 AA)
  • Experience using AI/automation for design systems improvement
  • Ability to drive system adoption through metrics and enablement programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent experience
