Role Purpose

The CEO will drive the company’s growth strategy in Egypt, strengthen its leadership position in the auto finance market, and introduce new consumer lending products to diversify revenue and increase market share.

This role requires balancing entrepreneurial expansion, family shareholder expectations, and the governance requirements of a regulated financial services environment. The CEO will build a scalable organization aligned with Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) standards while maintaining a hands-on, business-winning approach for the next two years.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Strategic Growth \& Market Expansion

• Develop and execute a national growth strategy focused on auto finance portfolio expansion, deeper dealer network penetration, and geographic coverage.
• Identify underserved customer segments and build new distribution or partnership channels.
• Create multi-year business plans aligned with family shareholders’ long-term vision.

2\. Auto Finance Business Leadership (Core Focus)

• Optimize pricing models, underwriting policies, and approval workflow for auto loans.
• Strengthen partnerships with dealers, distributors, importers, and insurance partners.
• Enhance portfolio quality, asset protection, collateral management, and collections performance.

3\. New Product Development (Strategic Priority)

• Lead the design and launch of new lending products, such as cash loans, BNPL/installment finance, motorcycle or commercial vehicle finance, SME lending, or insurance/value-added services.
• Establish a structured product innovation framework including market assessments, risk/pricing models, and regulatory approvals.

4\. Regulatory Compliance \& Governance

• Ensure full compliance with FRA regulations, AML/KYC requirements, and consumer protection rules.
• Maintain robust internal controls, responsible lending practices, and governance standards.

5\. Financial Performance \& Funding Strategy

• Deliver sustainable portfolio growth, profitability, and strong asset quality.
• Develop a diversified funding strategy including bank lines, structured financing, or external investment partnerships.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and financial discipline.

6\. Shareholder \& Board Engagement

• Serve as a trusted partner to family shareholders and the Board.
• Translate strategic vision into executable plans and provide transparent performance reporting.
• Balance entrepreneurial agility with governance discipline.

7\. Organizational Leadership \& Culture

• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team across key functions: Risk, Sales, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and IT.
• Foster a performance-driven culture combining commercial excellence, credit discipline, and customer trust.

8\. Digital Transformation \& Scaling

• Advance digital onboarding, analytics-based underwriting, and CRM/dealer integration.
• Ensure the organization is scalable to support rapid portfolio growth and efficiency improvements.

Candidate Profile

Experience

• 15\+ years of experience in banking, consumer finance, fintech, or auto finance.
• Proven executive leadership experience (CEO, GM, Country Manager, or senior business head).
• Strong exposure to the Egyptian lending market or broader regional markets.
• Demonstrated experience launching and scaling new lending products.
• Experience in family-owned or entrepreneurial environments is an advantage.
