Vice President of Operations
A leading long-term care organization is seeking an experienced
Vice President of Operations
to provide strategic and operational leadership across a highly specialized skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment. This executive role will partner closely with the CEO to oversee daily operations, drive organizational growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering exceptional resident care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive oversight for facility operations, clinical support services, quality initiatives, and administrative leadership.
- Lead strategic planning efforts and execute organizational goals and growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory requirements, including survey readiness and quality improvement programs.
- Drive operational excellence, workforce engagement, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.
- Develop and implement innovative care models, service lines, and operational programs.
- Manage budgets, financial performance metrics, occupancy goals, and operational KPIs.
- Mentor and develop leadership teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the Administrator of Record and act as a key representative of the organization within the healthcare community.
Qualifications
- Current
New York State Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) License
required.
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience within long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute care settings.
- Strong knowledge of NYS Department of Health regulations and long-term care operations.
- Proven success leading large interdisciplinary teams and complex healthcare operations.
- Exceptional leadership, financial management, communication, and strategic planning skills.
