About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a global electronics manufacturing company supporting aerospace and defense industries, to hire a Human Resources Generalist for their largest U.S. printed circuit board facility in Minnetonka, MN. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day HR operations while playing a key role in employee relations, compliance, payroll, benefits administration, and recruiting. What You'll Do as a Human Resources Generalist:
- Process payroll for non-exempt employees and track hourly attendance
- Administer employee benefits, including COBRA, FMLA, and STD paperwork
- Complete new hire orientations and maintain accurate employee files
- Manage all stages of the recruiting process from job postings to offer presentation
- Handle employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed
- Maintain compliance reporting (OSHA 300, EEO-1, Affirmative Action, VETS-4212)
- Create and maintain HRIS reports and training records
- Support plant and company events such as open enrollment and employee functions
What You Need to Bring to the Human Resources Generalist:
- Previous experience in Human Resources or a similar administrative role required
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field preferred
- Strong multitasking skills with high attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Experience using ADP WorkforceNow preferred
- Willingness to learn and support additional HR duties as needed
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required due to ITAR regulations
