About the Opportunity

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a global electronics manufacturing company supporting aerospace and defense industries, to hire a Human Resources Generalist for their largest U.S. printed circuit board facility in Minnetonka, MN. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day HR operations while playing a key role in employee relations, compliance, payroll, benefits administration, and recruiting. What You'll Do as a Human Resources Generalist:

  • Process payroll for non-exempt employees and track hourly attendance
  • Administer employee benefits, including COBRA, FMLA, and STD paperwork
  • Complete new hire orientations and maintain accurate employee files
  • Manage all stages of the recruiting process from job postings to offer presentation
  • Handle employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed
  • Maintain compliance reporting (OSHA 300, EEO-1, Affirmative Action, VETS-4212)
  • Create and maintain HRIS reports and training records
  • Support plant and company events such as open enrollment and employee functions

What You Need to Bring to the Human Resources Generalist:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources or a similar administrative role required
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field preferred
  • Strong multitasking skills with high attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Experience using ADP WorkforceNow preferred
  • Willingness to learn and support additional HR duties as needed
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required due to ITAR regulations
