Salesforce QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber to streamline testing processes for Salesforce applications.
• Execute manual and automated test cases for Salesforce features, including Lightning components, workflows, and integrations with RESTful APIs.
• Conduct functional testing, system testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), performance testing with LoadRunner or similar tools, and mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects to identify underlying issues within complex Salesforce configurations or integrations involving APIs, SOAP/REST web services, and third-party systems like AWS or Azure.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts and developers during requirements gathering to ensure test cases cover all functional specifications.
• Utilize version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, SVN, or TFS for managing test scripts and automation code efficiently.
• Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps to facilitate rapid release cycles while maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software quality assurance with a focus on Salesforce CRM platforms; familiarity with Salesforce Lightning components is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools including Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (or similar BDD frameworks), and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with mobile application testing on Android and iOS devices; understanding of mobile testing tools and techniques is essential.
• Proficiency in API testing using RESTful services with tools like Postman or SoapUI; experience with API automation is a plus.
• Solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and release management processes.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB for data analysis and validation purposes.
• Knowledge of version control systems like GitHub or GitLab; experience with Jenkins or Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and troubleshooting complex issues across various systems.

Pay: $62,961\.08 - $75,824\.09 per year
