Job Description

The

Business Analyst

will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making and business development within the marketing and operations departments. This role is responsible for analyzing business, sales, and operational data to generate insights and provide strategic recommendations that enhance business performance, optimize delivery platforms, and support marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Business \& Sales Performance Analysis

  • Analyze key business metrics, including sales, revenue, costs, and profitability, to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Generate, review, and interpret daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Identify performance gaps and areas for menu and pricing optimization, cost optimization, revenue maximization, and operational efficiency improvements.

Market \& Competitive Research

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to gather insights on industry trends, market size, growth opportunities, and consumer behavior.
  • Analyze competitor strategies, strengths, and weaknesses, providing benchmarking insights to enhance Chinese Palace Group’s market positioning.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in the restaurant and food delivery industry, identifying key areas for innovation and adaptation.
  • Delivery Platform Performance Optimization
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of delivery platforms (e.g., Deliveroo, Talabat, Noon Food) to assess sales trends and operational effectiveness.
  • Identify key drivers of growth, areas for optimization, and implement data-driven recommendations to improve conversion rates and profitability on delivery platforms.

Marketing Analytics \& Insights

  • Analyze and interpret marketing data, including campaign performance, customer engagement, and digital analytics, to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing channels, promotions, and campaigns, providing strategic recommendations for optimization.
  • Develop dashboards and performance reports to track KPIs and ROI for marketing initiatives.

Data Management \& Reporting

  • Maintain and analyze customer, market, and business data to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Utilize data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to present insights clearly to stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and cross-functional teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations, finance, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment in strategy and
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support operational and marketing initiatives.

Strategy Development (Marketing \& Operations)

  • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to define and refine strategies, action plans, and campaign goals.
  • Conduct competitive positioning analysis to identify differentiation opportunities.
  • Support the development of marketing plans, including targeting, segmentation, and positioning strategies.

Business Development Support

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate partnerships, group bookings, and event-driven promotions.
  • Develop and implement lead generation strategies to attract and convert new customers.
  • Assist in planning and executing sales initiatives, working closely with sales and operations teams.
