Our client, a global leader in innovation and sustainability within the chemical industry, is seeking an Engineering Manager for their operations in Japan. This role offers the opportunity to lead engineering functions across multiple manufacturing sites, focusing on equipment installation, modification, and technical support to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering function across Japanese manufacturing sites
• Plan and execute equipment design and renewal activities
• Drive productivity and process improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Manage and develop engineering team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for stable production
• Select and manage equipment suppliers and contractors

Qualifications:

• 8\+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing industries
• Business-level Japanese proficiency
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and utilities
• Proven experience in equipment installation, modification, and improvement
• Working-level English for technical documentation and communication
• Experience with TPM or similar reliability improvement methodologies is preferred but not mandatory
• Experience in new factory or major equipment upgrade projects is preferred but not mandatory

応募資格：

• 製造業界での8年以上のエンジニアリング経験
• ビジネスレベルの日本語能力
• 製造設備、機械、ユーティリティに関する豊富な知識
• 設備の設置、改良、改善の実績
• 技術文書作成やコミュニケーションのための実務レベルの英語力
• TPMや類似の信頼性向上手法の経験があれば尚可
• 新工場や主要設備のアップグレードプロジェクト経験があれば尚可
