Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Delivers clear, engaging training presentations to groups of varying sizes.
- Facilitates classroom learning through presentations, discussions, and hands-on activities that keep the room engaged.
- Assesses training and development needs in partnership with Leadership and Human Resources.
- Develops training programs to support specific needs of the business, aimed at helping Team Members improve their skills and ability to perform their job functions.
- Creates and updates training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
- Facilitates training and development programs in a variety of formats including classroom setting, group discussions, role playing, etc.
- Organizes and schedules training sessions throughout the organization.
- Evaluates training program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
- Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Training and Development, or a related field required.
- At least two years of training experience preferred.
