Engineering Manager

Overview:

Technology that moves and protects. Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for cars and an understanding of complex safety requirements? We are looking for a skilled technical project manager to manage customer projects from initial concept to final acceptance. In this role, you will combine technical expertise in vehicle manufacturing with precise risk management.

These are your tasks

• Project Management AZ: You will assume full responsibility for the organization, execution, and monitoring of demanding customer projects.
• Technical Management: They control risk management and ensure that costs, resources and deadlines are precisely adhered to in the development process.
• Interface expert: They coordinate all participating departments and are the central communication hub for internal and external partners.
• Quality assurance: Planning and execution of design reviews, as well as tracking the resulting optimization measures, are in your hands.

What you bring with you

• Education: Completed studies (FH/Uni/ETH) in the field of mechanical engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in project management and vehicle development.
• Industry focus: Mandatory experience in a military environment or the defense industry .
• Tool stack: Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Ideally, you are also proficient in IBM DOORS, Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and SAP .
• Languages: Fluent German and English are a must.
