About the Role
CareerTakes is sourcing on behalf of a leading financial services organization seeking an
Associate Data Analyst
to join its credit and risk analytics team.
This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who enjoys working with large datasets, building dashboards, and uncovering insights that support business decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with risk and loan review teams to develop analytics that help monitor credit performance, identify trends, and strengthen internal controls.

What You’ll Do
- Design advanced analytics solutions using tools such as
SQL, Python, Power BI, and emerging AI tools
- Maintain and enhance
Power BI dashboards
used by loan review and business teams
- Develop data models and automated scripts to detect
credit risk trends and anomalies
- Create visual reporting and dashboards for continuous monitoring
- Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets across multiple systems
- Validate data integrity and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies
- Communicate insights and findings to senior stakeholders through reports and visualizations
- Support requests from auditors and regulatory reviews related to financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in
Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong proficiency in
SQL, Python, and Power BI
- Experience building data models, dashboards, and automated analytics workflows
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Graduate degree in Data Science or related field
- Experience working with financial or risk-related data
Compensation
Estimated base salary range:
$71,000 – $85,000 annually
, depending on experience, skills, and location.
