About The Role
The role owns the analytical foundation of the product and business operations, translating complex datasets into actionable insights, dashboards, and predictive models.
The team works closely with product managers, data engineers, and executives to drive data-informed decision-making across all core business metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable SQL-based data models, dimensional tables, and automated reporting dashboards using Looker or Tableau
- Partner with product and engineering teams to define core KPIs, track feature adoption, and measure the impact of product releases
- Perform rigorous exploratory data analysis to identify user behavior trends, retention bottlenecks, and growth opportunities
- Build robust ETL pipelines in Python and SQL, ensuring high data accuracy and reliability across the data warehouse
- Design and analyze A/B testing frameworks, calculating statistical significance and delivering clear experiment recommendations
- Translate complex technical findings into concise, executive-ready presentations that drive strategic planning
What We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering within a tech environment
- Advanced SQL skills with expertise in window functions, CTEs, performance tuning, and data warehouse architecture (Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Mode
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, and experimental design for product analytics
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- Bonus: Experience with dbt for data transformation and basic familiarity with machine learning regression models
