Data Analyst I – Finance \& Business Analytics

Central City, AZ (Hybrid – onsite first 90 days, then flexible)

About the Role

We’re looking for a

Data Analyst I

to join a finance data and analytics team that drives

data-driven decision-making

across business units. In this role, you will help transform raw data into

actionable insights

, supporting enterprise reporting, financial models, and strategic business initiatives.

You will work closely with finance, technology, and business stakeholders to

collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets

, creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations that influence decisions across the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with Finance and business leaders to

define key analytics requirements

and translate them into technical solutions.

• Collect, clean, and analyze data to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
• Build, develop, and maintain

data models, dashboards, reporting systems, and automation pipelines

to support business decisions.

• Prototype, test, and deploy

reports and visualizations

using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.

• Prioritize and manage ad-hoc and project-based analytics requests, ensuring timely delivery.
• Support

change management initiatives

and anticipate future finance and business analytics needs.

• Communicate findings clearly to leadership and stakeholders, telling

data-driven stories

that influence business strategy.

What You’ll Bring

• 1\+ years of experience in

finance, analytics, FP\&A, or business intelligence

.

• Experience with

data visualization tools

such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

• Ability to write

SQL queries

against data warehouses and prepare reports for end-user consumption.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a

cross-functional team environment

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages.
• Knowledge of SAP, Essbase, Alteryx, Snowflake, or other enterprise tools.
• Familiarity with data warehouse structures, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance principles.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
