Senior Data Engineer

This senior-level role will lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of best-in-class data processing solutions across the full data lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for building and optimizing complex data systems, including data modeling, transformation, integration, governance, performance, and security. The ideal candidate brings both deep technical expertise and strong business acumen, along with the ability to mentor junior team members and contribute strategically across initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and continuously improve scalable data platforms and pipelines

• Build and manage data transformation processes, metadata frameworks, workload orchestration, and dependency management

• Design high-performance systems that support interactive querying across large, multi-modal datasets

• Develop and support ETL/ELT pipelines (daily/monthly) to ensure data availability and business continuity

• Implement and validate data governance standards including lineage, quality controls, and classification

• Support and enhance existing Data Warehouse (DW), Master Data Management (MDM), and middleware solutions

• Plan and execute unit testing to ensure high-quality, defect-free code

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3\+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 3\+ years in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related quantitative field

• 3\+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience (data persistence, processing, integration, MDM solutions)

• Strong experience designing and building end-to-end data pipelines across ODS, staging, data warehouses, data marts, MDM, and middleware integrations

• Deep understanding of DW concepts (3NF and dimensional modeling), MDM frameworks, API management, and ESB-based integration architectures

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for data workflows (Azure DevOps experience is a plus)
