Job Description
We’re hiring: Data Engineer
This role is a great opportunity to grow into a subject matter expert in data management and database optimization within a cloud-based, high-scale environment. You’ll be working alongside a team of diverse technologists, contributing to a robust infrastructure that supports high-volume payment processing and data-driven innovation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and optimizing database schemas for scalability and performance
- Managing ETL processes and data lake environments
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure efficient data architecture
- Supporting data ingestion, extraction, and integration across platforms
- Driving improvements in system reliability, resiliency, and data protection
What we’re looking for:
- 3\+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Database Administration, or similar
- Strong expertise in MySQL and SQL optimization
- Experience with ETL pipelines and data warehousing
- Exposure to AWS (Lambda, Redshift, DMS) and Apache tools (Airflow, Kafka, Superset)
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL migrations is a plus
- Curiosity, ownership, and strong communication skills
