Zensar is looking for a Data Engineer in the United States (Onsite). This position is open for Full Time with excellent benefits and professional growth opportunities.

About the Role

Data Pipeline Development

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Automate workflows to ensure smooth data flow across systems.

Database Management

  • Design, implement, and optimize relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
  • Ensure data is structured for efficient retrieval and analysis.

Data Architecture \& Modeling

  • Create and maintain data models that support analytics and machine learning.
  • Align data systems with business objectives.

ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Processes

  • Develop ETL frameworks to clean, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy.

Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in managing service delivery for big organization.
  • Proven hands-on expertise in data engineering with Snowflake and Databricks, including building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture fundamentals such as ingestion, transformation, storage, and access management.
  • Solid experience in system and solution architecture, focusing on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Extensive knowledge of ETL/ELT pipeline development, covering extraction, transformation, validation, and loading processes.
  • Deep expertise in data modeling techniques, including dimensional modeling, star schema, and snowflake schema.
  • Ability to optimize compute and storage costs across Snowflake and Databricks platforms.
  • Proficiency in platform administration, including database design, schema management, user roles, permissions, and access controls.
  • Hands-on experience implementing data lineage, data quality, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data processing, transformation, and automation.
  • Strong experience in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard development) along with modern BI tools such as Sigma Computing and ThoughtSpot.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree – Information Technology
