Data Engineer | AWS | SQL | ETL | New York Metro

Capgemini is hiring a

Data Engineer

to support a strategic Financial Services client in the New York Metro area.

We're looking for an experienced data professional who enjoys building scalable data pipelines, developing ETL/ELT solutions, optimizing SQL, and working with modern cloud-based data platforms.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Build scalable data integration solutions
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries
• Create and maintain data models
• Support data quality, validation, and reconciliation efforts
• Work with AWS-based data platforms and enterprise databases
• Partner with business and technical teams to deliver data solutions

Required Experience

• 6\+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong SQL development skills
• Hands-on ETL/ELT experience
• Experience building and supporting data pipelines
• Data modeling and data management experience
• Experience with Amazon Redshift
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle databases
• Experience working in enterprise-scale environments

Nice to Have

• Financial Services experience
• Tableau experience
• Data governance or data quality experience

Compensation

• Base salary up to

$118,000

• 15% annual bonus
