Data Scientist

• Job Description:

· Be accountable for the successful rollout \& Support of Data Engineering Solutions across a large-scale stake holder of Bank .

· Own the project’s objectives/activities to ensure that risks and issues are appropriately and clearly managed or escalated.

· Communicate and manage senior stakeholders across multiple business lines.

· Establish an understanding of the business, develop a deep understanding of business needs, and build and shape delivery plans.

· Prepare and deliver presentations and facilitate decisions among senior stakeholders.

· Represent the role in line with the Banks culture, ensuring full transparency, auditability and value for money objectives are met/upheld.

· Responsible for tracking / managing Technology Obsolescence, OS/DB/Middleware baseline management.

· Responsible for tracking / managing Technology OS / DB /Middleware upgrade activities.

· Responsible for tracking / managing VAPT / IA Obs. tracking , closure \& Infra. Capacity Management, projection .

· Responsible for Deployments Mgmt , Dev-ops CI CD process \& purging/backup policy Automations

· Managing Cloud Infra Scalability / System stability Optimization.

· Responsible for Budget ,FPN, PO release activities \& Vendor management activities.

· Highly organized, self-motivated, pro-active, and able to plan and execute plans

· Responsible To lead a team of minimum 25 people.

• Skill -

13 \+ years of experience.

· Knowledge \& practices of SDLC process and agile methodologies

· Excellent knowledge of on premise \& cloud technologies (Azure preferred ).

· Excellent knowledge of working with Azure Cloud Technologies : ADLS Gen 2, Databricks, Events hub, Azure ADF, Azure function , Azure Logic Apps and DB repositories, Synapse, Delta Tables

· Experience working with relational databases – Oracle , MSSQL , Db2 , Netezza etc.

· Experience working with NoSQL databases – Azure Cosmos , Mongo DB etc

· Experience working with distributed SQL query engine like Trino

· Experience working with programming languages - Python, Py-Spark , SQL, Plsql etc

· Excellent experience in data ingestion/message queue technologies - Golden gate , Kafka , Solace etc.

· Experience working with servers and OS - Unix , Linux , AIX etc.

· Experience working with scheduling tools – Autosys, Azure Monitor etc.

· Experience working with project management ,collaboration tools – MPP , MS Share point, MS Teams

· Experience working with Incident Management, Defect Management Tools – Service Now , JIRA etc.
