I’m partnering with a leading financial services organisation that has been steadily growing and investing in their Data Science function over the past year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Data Scientist who is still building their experience but wants to work in a highly technical, modern environment with strong mentorship and real impact.

About the role

You’ll join a mature Data Science team working on meaningful, real‑world modelling problems across the business. This role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, thrives on learning, and enjoys solving complex problems with data.

You’ll work across the full modelling lifecycle, contribute to experimentation and uplift initiatives, and collaborate closely with engineering, analytics and product teams.

What you’ll bring

You’ll have

a minimum of 2\+ years’ experience

in a Data Science role, with exposure to applied modelling, experimentation or advanced analytics. You’ll also hold

relevant tertiary qualifications

in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring strong technical capability across

Python and SQL

, along with experience working in

Azure

and

Databricks

environments. You’ll be someone who enjoys solving complex problems, is naturally curious, and is motivated by continuous learning and technical growth.

Experience in financial services is beneficial but not essential - what matters most is your mindset, capability and willingness to develop.
