Job Description
We are looking for a DBA Engineer to support database administration activities across enterprise retail systems hosted in Azure.
This role focuses on maintaining database stability, performance, and availability in production environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing SQL Server and Snowflake environments and understands cloud-based database operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain SQL Server databases.
- Support Snowflake data warehouse environments.
- Monitor database performance, availability, and security.
- Execute performance tuning and query optimization tasks.
- Manage backup and recovery processes.
- Support database deployments and migrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Data, and Engineering teams. ]
Required Qualifications
- 3\+ years of experience in database administration.
- Strong experience with SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Understanding of database performance tuning concepts.
- Experience working in Microsoft Azure environments.
- Advanced English communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Retail domain experience.
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Python).
- Exposure to high-availability configurations.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools.
