eNGINE is seeking a Database Engineer to join a team focused on modernizing and optimizing a large-scale SQL Server environment. This role offers the opportunity to help drive an organization's transition from an on-premises database infrastructure to Azure while improving performance, scalability, and operational efficiency

Responsibiliti

• esSupport and optimize SQL Server environments across on-prem and Azure platform
• s.Assist with cloud migration initiatives and ongoing Azure adoption effort
• s.Perform SQL performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and storage optimizatio
• n.Troubleshoot database and infrastructure performance issue
• s.Develop and maintain PowerShell automation script
• s.Utilize Azure-native monitoring and management tool
• s.Support backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solution
• s.Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and business teams on technical initiative
• s.Participate in an on-call rotatio
