Executive Summary:

HRUCKUS is looking for an experienced Senior Database Engineer (TS/SCI) to support mission-critical programs across national security and defense by providing specialized database design, data modeling, and automated solutions.

Position Description:

The Senior Database Engineer will provide subject matter expertise for analytical process improvement, requirements generation, and systems architecture, focusing on relational and cloud-based database development in a multi-tiered environment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provides subject matter proficiency for work described in the task.
• Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements.
• Performs analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, and developing functional architecture.
• Develops database solutions in a multi-tiered environment.
• Develops and maintains automated installation scripts.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10 years of experience in the functional area of database engineering.
• 10 years of combined experience in relational and cloud-based databases, including database development, software engineering, database design, data modeling, requirements analysis, and systems/software architecture.
• 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• 5 years of experience working with Enterprise DB.
• Must be able to report on-site in San Antonio, TX up to five days per week based on customer requirements.
• Master's degree in a related field (may substitute for 2 years of experience).
