Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Generalist to join our team and support a wide range of human resources functions across the organization. This is a permanent and hybrid position! This position will serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers while helping ensure effective HR processes, benefit administration, compliance, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, employee relations, and workplace concerns
  • Support employee relations matters, including investigations, performance issues, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  • Partner with managers and leadership to address employee concerns and provide guidance on HR policies and best practices
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, promotions, transfers, and offboarding
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a positive employee experience
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and ensure HRIS information is current
  • Assist with payroll processing and review employee information for accuracy
  • Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a resource for employees regarding benefits, eligibility, and enrollment
  • Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer/onboarding processes
  • Assist with performance management processes, including annual reviews, goal setting, and performance improvement plans
  • Help develop and maintain company policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and other HR documentation
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain required HR records and documentation and assist with audits and compliance initiatives
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and workforce data for management
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives
  • Assist with training and development programs, including compliance training and professional development initiatives
  • Partner with leadership on organizational development and employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist with compensation and salary administration activities as needed
  • Stay current on changes in employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
  • Support special HR projects and other initiatives as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 3\+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or similar HR role
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and employee relations
  • Experience working with an HRIS and Microsoft Office or similar business systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Hands-on, team-oriented approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
