Job Description
IDR is seeking a
Network Engineer
to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting secure network environments with a focus on migration, deployment, and performance optimization for enterprise-level projects.
Position Overview for the Network Engineer:
- Provide advanced engineering support for government programs, focusing on network design, deployment, and security implementation
- Support the migration of field program environments into a secure, scalable hosting environment
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system operations
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, cybersecurity personnel, and stakeholders throughout all project phases
Requirements for the Network Engineer:
- 8\+ years of Network Engineering experience in a production enterprise environment
- Strong hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Experience with network design, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
- Strong network security experience, including segmentation and firewall policies
