A well-regarded FinTech vendor serving tier one and tier two banks is looking for a Pre-Sales Manager to lead from the front — personally owning complex enterprise pursuits while building and developing a small team of solutions consultants across North America.
This is a player-manager role. You will be in the room on the deals that matter, and you will be the person your team looks to when the client asks a question nobody has been asked before.

The role
· Lead and develop a small pre-sales team — setting standards, coaching on discovery and demo excellence, and building a repeatable solutions methodology
· Personally own pre-sales activity on strategic and complex enterprise opportunities across tier one and tier two banking clients
· Lead discovery sessions and technical deep-dives with operations, technology and risk stakeholders across settlement, clearing, custody and reconciliation functions
· Design and deliver compelling, tailored demonstrations that connect platform capability to real client workflow pain
· Own proof of concept processes — scoping, managing and closing POCs that accelerate deals
· Act as the bridge between sales, product and engineering — translating client feedback into product insight and commercial opportunity
· Stay current on post-trade market developments — T\+1, settlement fails, CSDR, tokenised securities, SWIFT messaging standards and emerging regulatory obligations

What you bring
· Pre-sales or solutions consulting experience within post-trade, settlement, clearing, reconciliation, custody or capital markets operations software
· A genuine player-manager mentality — you lead by doing, not by delegating
· Deep familiarity with post-trade workflows across trade lifecycle management, fails management, settlement optimisation, corporate actions or collateral management
· Experience presenting and running discovery with senior banking stakeholders — Heads of Operations, COOs, technology and risk leadership
· The technical credibility to go deep — and the commercial instinct to know when to pull back and let the business case lead
· Experience building or mentoring a pre-sales team is highly advantageous
