About The Role

We are looking for a sharp, ownership-driven Business Analyst to own the intersection of Private Equity, Data, Product and drive Client Success.

You will work directly with clients — primarily in the Private Equity space — to translate complex business challenges into clear requirements, actionable deliverables, and scalable solutions.

This is a high-impact role. You will be one of the people shaping how we build, which means you will wear multiple hats, move quickly, and leave visible fingerprints on what we deliver.

What You Will Own

• Fully own and manage Private Equity client relationships and stakeholder expectations across entire project lifecycle(s) — from scoping and requirements gathering all the way through execution, implementation, and final delivery
• Lead business requirements gathering from Private Equity clients and translate them into structured project deliverables in partnership with Product and Engineering teams
• Perform data analysis and support data modeling efforts to inform product decisions and client insights
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Design teams to drive successful outcomes (not just outputs)
• Contribute to the development of FinTech solutions tailored to PE workflows including deal sourcing, diligence, and portfolio monitoring
• Research, prototype, and evaluate emerging capabilities — including GenAI tooling — to support continuous product improvement
• Produce clear written documentation, presentations, and analysis for both technical and non-technical audiences

What We Are Looking For \| What You Bring

Essentials

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field (Masters is a plus)
• 3–5 years of experience in Private Equity, FinTech, or Consulting
• Experience with Private Equity workflows

• Proven ability to gather and manage business requirements and drive project delivery end-to-end
• Hands-on experience with data analysis and data modeling
• Client-facing experience with demonstrated stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving instincts — you break down complexity and solve it, not just describe it
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; equally at home in a client meeting and a product spec
• True ownership mindset — you follow through, solve blockers quickly, and hold yourself accountable to exceptional client results
• Based in the United States

Extras

• Experience at a startup or high-growth company — you're comfortable building things before the playbook exists
• Domain experience in FinTech products and platforms
• Expertise in GenAI / LLM concepts — prompting, RAG, working with providers like Anthropic or OpenAI
• Proficiency in TypeScript or experience building with AI-assisted development tools
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Prior experience leading and coaching teams
