POSITION:

Teaching Assistant

LOCATION:

North Franklin Educational Center, Malone

Description

Provide instructional services to students under the general supervision of Teachers
Plan, implement and evaluate instruction and pupil performance as specified (by the IEP where appropriate), for individual and/or groups of students
Plan and implement specified parts of the daily schedule of topics of the curriculum
Maintain standards of behavior for students using behavior management techniques which enhance the students' development toward independence
Plan and implement remedial instruction when necessary
Perform various clerical and related duties assigned by the Teacher and Administrator

QUALIFICATIONS:

NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant

STARTING DATE:

ASAP

SALARY:

$24,584 (2025-26 Base Salary) - Consideration for additional salary may be granted based upon education and experience
