Business Analyst

We are growing our Copenhagen office and are looking for a Business Analyst with strong analytical and technical curiosity to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates who want to apply data, structured thinking, and digital tools – including AI - to real-world, client-facing problems.

The role:

As a Business Analyst, you will be a core member of client-facing project teams working at the intersection of data, research, and decision-making, supporting executive search and leadership advisory projects. From day one, you will take ownership of substantial parts of client engagements and gain direct exposure to senior stakeholders.

You will not only conduct rigorous market analysis but also leverage and experiment with data tools, automation, and AI to improve how we identify, assess, and present leadership talent.

This is a hands-on role where you will:

• Work directly on client problems
• Apply structured and data-driven thinking
• Contribute to evolving how a global advisory firm uses AI and technology in practice

Your key tasks and responsibilities:

• Be an integral part of client engagement teams delivering executive search projects, pitch preparation and knowledge management
• Proactively identify opportunities where technology, data and AI tools can improve research workflows
• Build structured analyses of industries, companies, and leadership teams
• Lead systematic candidate identification and map executive talent pools
• Test and apply new tools and ways of working to enhance output and productivity in day-to-day work
• Build clear, concise, and data-backed client deliverables
• Support local and global knowledge initiatives and contribute to sharing and scaling best practices across the firm

Your Profile:

• Experience with, and a strong interest in emerging technologies, AI and digital tools
• Recent MSc graduate within a relevant field, e.g. Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Science or similar
• Relevant professional experience from one or more of the following: student work, studies abroad, extracurricular activities and/or full-time work
• Strong problem-solving and structured thinking skills
• Ability to work with data and translate it into clear insights
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas simply
• Ownership mindset and comfort with ambiguity
• Intellectual curiosity and a proactive mindset, including interest in learning about leadership, organisations and markets
• Fluency in English; Scandinavian language skills or affiliation are an advantage
