About the Role
The Deputy Marketing Manager (Performance \& Integration) is the operational and strategic heartbeat of the BYD UK marketing team. This role is built for a high-caliber, data-driven marketing leader who thrives at the intersection of performance marketing, social media strategy, and brand storytelling.
You will oversee the full marketing ecosystem—Paid Media, social media, Content, and Influencer Marketing—ensuring every channel works in harmony to drive high-quality leads, test-drive demand, and measurable sales growth. Your remit spans strategy, execution, optimisation, and team leadership, with a relentless focus on performance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1\. Cross-Functional Leadership \& Team Management
- Lead and align the Social, Content, and Paid Media teams around core commercial objectives.
- Remove silos and ensure creative, social, and paid strategies work cohesively to deliver performance-driven results.
2\. Performance Marketing \& Paid Media Excellence
- Architect and execute high-impact paid media strategies across SEM, Paid Social, and Programmatic.
- Apply deep SSP/DSP knowledge to optimise media buying efficiency and maximize ROI.
3\. Integrated Social Media \& Influencer Ecosystem
- Oversee BYD UK’s presence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Manage the full influencer/KOC lifecycle—from sourcing and negotiation to content approval and performance measurement.
- Implement attribution models to quantify the impact of social and influencer activity on lead generation and test-drive bookings.
4\. Lead Lifecycle \& CRM Integration
- Own the full lead journey, ensuring quality, distribution, and conversion are continuously optimised.
- Integrate marketing workflows with automotive-grade CRM systems (Salesforce/SAP) to create a seamless online-to-offline sales pipeline.
5\. Data, Insights \& Real-Time Optimisation
- Build dashboards and frameworks to monitor KPIs across paid, social, and organic channels.
- Use insights to reallocate budgets dynamically and elevate lead quality and conversion performance.
About You
You are a performance-obsessed, analytically sharp, and commercially minded marketer with a passion for building integrated ecosystems that convert attention into action.
You Bring:
- 5–8 years’ experience in a fast-paced agency or high-growth brand environment.
- A proven track record in UK influencer marketing, social media growth, and multi-channel campaign management.
- Deep technical expertise in Paid Media, including SSP/DSP mechanics.
- Proficiency with GA4, lead management platforms, and automotive CRM systems.
- A mindset that is data-driven, conversion-focused, and relentlessly committed to improving lead quality.
