Design Engineer Mechanical ( 82807104 )

Job Responsibilities :

• Design and optimize HVAC systems, including central plant systems, air distribution systems, and controls systems.
• Conduct load calculations and energy simulations to determine optimal system sizing and configuration.
• Design and oversee the installation of domestic water supply, sanitary drainage, and storm water drainage systems.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and standards.
• Design and oversee the installation of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants, and solid waste treatment systems.
• Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (civil, structural, electrical) to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems and Plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Conduct water quality assessments and identify treatment requirements.
• Select appropriate equipment and technologies to achieve desired water quality.
• Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Coordinate with environmental authorities for approvals and permits.
• Design and oversee the installation of fire alarm, fire sprinkler, and fire hydrant systems.
• Conduct fire safety assessments and risk analysis.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety codes and standards.
• Coordinate with local fire authorities for approvals and inspections
• Conduct site visits to oversee installation and commissioning.
• Review design documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist Manager in design reviews and technical discussions with project stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively and understand requirements and expectations.

Education Requirement :

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
• LEED certification or other sustainability certifications.

Experience Requirement :

• 4 to 8 years of Experience in designing and implementing MEP for large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., plumbing codes, fire safety codes, HVAC codes, water quality standards).
