Developer

Contract

with a client in

Atlanta, GA.

The ideal candidate must have strong Terraform expertise to provision AWS services and build scalable CI/CD pipelines while ensuring secure, compliant cloud operations.

Rate Range:

$37/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Develop and maintain Terraform configurations to provision and manage AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, Fargate, EC2, VPC, and RDS.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Jenkins to support seamless application integration and deployment.
• Implement cloud security best practices and compliance controls across AWS environments to ensure secure infrastructure operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, collaborating closely with development teams for smooth release cycles.
• Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and support automated testing processes to maintain high-quality delivery.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to identify project requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely deployment of cloud-based solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8–10 years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps, with strong hands‑on experience in AWS and Terraform.
• Proven expertise in AWS services (Lambda, ECS, Fargate, EC2, VPC, R53, CloudFront, RDS/Aurora) and advanced proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or Jenkins, with solid skills in Python/Shell scripting and understanding of Java build processes (Maven/Gradle).

Pay Details:

$37\.00 to $49\.00 per hour
