Developer

Contract

with a client in

Basking Ridge, NJ.

You will integrate on‑prem Netcool systems with AIOps using native connectors and migrate event filters, automation, and runbook policies.

Rate Range:

$45/hour to $46/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Integrate and migrate existing IBM Netcool/OMNIbus and Netcool/Impact environments into IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps.
• Configure native connectors, event mapping rules, and bidirectional event synchronization between on‑prem Netcool systems and the AIOps platform.
• Migrate event filters, automations, runbooks, and policies into Cloud Pak for AIOps while ensuring consistent processing and transformation.
• Develop automation policies and runbooks using Netcool/Impact and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Provide high‑quality event, log, and metric data to support AIOps ML models including event grouping and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and operations teams to integrate third‑party tools (e.g., Splunk, ServiceNow, Slack) and troubleshoot complex hybrid‑cloud issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5–8\+ years of experience working with IBM Netcool, Netcool/OMNIbus, Netcool/Impact, and AIOps platforms.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps, including event integration, automation policies, and runbook migrations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hybrid‑cloud environments and integrate third‑party tools such as Splunk, ServiceNow, and Slack.

Pay Details:

$45\.00 to $46\.00 per hour
