Akkodis is seeking a

Developer

for a

Contract

with a client in

Westchester, NY.

The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Windchill technical development to implement custom solutions, support Agile delivery, and guide teammates through complex technical challenges.

Rate Range:

$49/hour to $62/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Design, develop, and implement custom enhancements and solutions within the Windchill PLM platform based on user requirements and technical specifications.
• Support squad members by troubleshooting technical issues and providing guidance on effective solution implementation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies—including sprint planning, stand ups, and retrospectives—while adhering to the SAFe Agile framework for on time delivery of PI objectives.
• Stay current with Windchill PLM updates, enhancements, and best practices, recommending improvements to optimize system usage and performance.
• Assist in training and upskilling team members on new Windchill features, functionalities, and technical capabilities.
• Collaborate with team members during story refinement, technical design discussions, and effort estimation to ensure well defined tasks and accurate timelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6–8 years of experience in Windchill PLM development and Core Java-based technical implementation.
• Strong expertise in Windchill technical customization, including developing enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and supporting Agile delivery.
• Proven ability to collaborate in SAFe Agile environments—participating in story refinement, technical design discussions, and providing technical guidance to team members.

Pay Details:

$49\.00 to $62\.00 per hour
