with a client in

San Jose, CA.

You will design and deploy distributed applications at scale in cloud environments while ensuring fault tolerance and high availability.

Rate Range:

$68/hour to $71/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Design, develop, and deploy distributed applications at scale in public and private cloud environments ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
• Build integrations and applications using programming languages such as Go, Python, and Java to support large-scale environments.
• Develop and maintain observability platforms and tooling systems like Splunk, Prometheus, GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory to improve performance and stability.
• Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
• Collaborate with SRE and engineering teams to define service level objectives (SLOs) and indicators (SLIs) and drive critical initiatives for operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and stability issues, leveraging advanced tools and methodologies to ensure optimal system reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• 4–5\+ years of production-level experience building distributed applications at scale in cloud environments.
• Strong programming expertise in Go, Python, and Java, with experience developing integrations and applications for large-scale systems.
• ands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and building observability platforms using tools like Splunk and Prometheus.

Pay Details:

$68\.00 to $71\.00 per hour
