Job Description
DevOps Engineer
Location: Englewood, CO ( 4 Days onsite 1 day remote)
Local nearby Candidates required,
W2 only
Core Responsibilities
- Own and operate CI/CD pipelines (heavy pipeline focused workload).
- Lead releases and deployments across multiple environments.
- Provide production support for access issues, outages, security incidents, and system failures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps level issues during incidents - serve as front line response.
- Build, manage, and optimize infrastructure through Terraform.
- Work directly with local teams to guide best practices, assist in troubleshooting, and support modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with the server team and DevOps lead (local).
Required Technical Skills
Cloud \& Infrastructure
- AWS (primary environment)
+ Lambda
+ S3
+ EKS/Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of server side DevOps workflows.
DevOps Tooling
- Terraform
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- Git/GitLab (Git projects, version control, branching strategies)
- CI/CD Pipelines (design, build, optimize - major part of the role)
Languages
- Python (automation, scripting)
Soft Skills \& Leadership
- Strong incident management skills - ability to stabilize and control high pressure situations.
- Clear communication in security events, outages and system downtime.
+ Will be collaborating across the 3 teams under Sean often, strong communication/collaboration is key
- Ability to explain decisions, walk through pipeline setups, and provide examples of past troubleshooting.
- A "lead hat" mindset - guide, support, and elevate those around them.
