We're working with Leidos on this exciting opportunity.
Leidos is seeking a passionate and innovative DevOps Engineer to revolutionize software delivery. You'll be at the forefront of modernizing critical systems, designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines with cutting-edge tools like GitLab, Kubernetes, and Docker.
The Role
- Spearhead the definition, implementation, and delivery of programs focused on modernizing diverse software systems.
- Develop automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker/Podman, and Ansible.
- Apply DevOps expertise to ensure congruent infrastructure, software, configurations, and interfaces.
- Collaborate within an Agile team, actively participating in daily scrums to achieve project objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation, infrastructure, and system issues, proactively mitigating technical risks.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree and 2\+ years of experience, or equivalent practical experience.
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Proven experience designing, building, and deploying DevOps pipelines with GitLab CI.
- Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of basic networking protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, DNS) within Kubernetes architecture.
