This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native modernization, with additional exposure to Amazon Web Services. You will be responsible for delivering and supporting complex AWS environments, enabling cloud migrations, and building scalable, secure multi-account landing zones across customer engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS-native tools (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit) and/or GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
- Automate the creation and configuration of AWS multi-account landing zones (AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, SCPs) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
- Support cloud migration and modernization projects, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and refactoring workloads to AWS
- Deploy and operate containerized workloads on Amazon EKS, ECS (Fargate/EC2), and manage container registries (ECR)
- Deploy AWS PaaS and serverless services such as Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, and S3
- Configure hybrid and multi-account networking scenarios including VPCs, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, VPC peering, and Route 53
- Utilize tools like AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and AWS Migration Hub for seamless workload transitions
- Implement observability and operational tooling using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, and third-party tools where required
- Provide basic support for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) workloads, including compute, networking (VCN), block/object storage, and IAM, and assist with AWS-OCI interconnectivity scenarios
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, security, application teams) to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals
- Provide L2-level support and escalation for AWS-related issues, and contribute to runbooks, documentation, and knowledge transfer
Requirements
- 4\+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a professional services or consulting environment
- Strong expertise in AWS CodePipeline / CodeBuild / CodeDeploy, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK), Amazon EKS, ECS, Docker, and container orchestration, AWS compute, PaaS, and serverless services (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, Elastic Beanstalk)
- Hybrid and multi-account networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, Route 53)
- AWS migration tooling (MGN, DMS, Migration Hub) and workload modernization
- Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell
- Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, identity (IAM), and cost management on AWS
- Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) fundamentals — compute, VCN networking, storage, and IAM — with the ability to support basic OCI operational tasks
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate is required
- Experience with AWS Control Tower, AWS Landing Zone Accelerator, or the AWS Well-Architected Framework
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations / Associate certification (e.g., OCI Architect Associate)
- Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments (AWS \+ OCI, AWS \+ on-premises)
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
- Exposure to observability and security tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or AWS Security Hub / GuardDuty
