Project Manager / Engineering Manager

Vancouver, BC \| Full-time \| On-site

Base salary: $115,000–$140,000 CAD

Kinitics Automation is scaling advanced Shape Memory Alloy based actuation systems for

demanding industrial applications.

We are moving from innovation to broader deployment, and

we need a leader who can help technical teams execute with speed, discipline, and clarity.

This role is a fit for someone who enjoys building structure inside a fast-moving engineering

environment. You’ll help keep programs on track, align internal teams, and support the delivery

of complex R\&D and commercialization projects.

What you’ll do.

  • Lead and support multidisciplinary engineering teams working on hardware products.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, priorities, and cross-functional coordination across R\&D and
  • commercialization efforts.
  • Support pilot deployments and internal readiness so projects move smoothly from
  • development into real-world use.
  • Improve engineering processes, reporting, and team execution against demanding
  • technical standards.
  • What we’re looking for
  • Background in engineering, technical project management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience managing projects, deliverables, or technical teams in hardware, industrial,
  • or R\&D settings.
  • Strong organizational ability and comfort operating across multiple priorities.
  • A practical leadership style with the ability to create alignment and momentum.
  • Solid references.
  • Nice to have
  • Experience with hardware development cycles, pilot programs, or manufacturing scale-
  • up.
  • Familiarity with industrial customers or regulated technical environments.
  • Background in mechanical, electrical, and/or software engineering and design.
