Digital Marketing Coordinator
=================================
Position Summary
--------------------
The Digital Marketing Coordinator supports AViVA Cleaning Services’ digital marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), local search visibility, website content, and social media presence.
This position is responsible for creating, optimizing, publishing, and monitoring digital content designed to increase AViVA’s online visibility and attract potential customers. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for researching relevant keywords, search trends, customer search behavior, competitors, and new content opportunities to identify ways to improve AViVA’s organic search performance.
A key responsibility of this position is continually identifying ways to improve engagement on the AViVA website. This includes analyzing how visitors interact with website content, determining which pages and topics perform well, identifying areas where visitors may be losing interest, and recommending or implementing improvements to content, page structure, internal linking, calls to action, images, and other website elements that may encourage visitors to remain on the website, explore additional services, and ultimately contact AViVA for service.
The employee will use tools such as WordPress, Yoast SEO, Local Viking, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, and other approved marketing and research tools to create content, measure results, identify opportunities, and continuously improve AViVA’s digital marketing performance.
This is a developmental position. The employee is not expected to begin as an SEO expert. Training and direction will be provided on AViVA’s SEO strategy, systems, procedures, brand standards, and marketing goals. However, the employee will be expected to actively research, learn, and develop their knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, keyword research, analytics, social media, and local search marketing.
As knowledge and experience increase, the employee will be expected to take greater responsibility for researching, planning, executing, monitoring, and improving digital marketing activities.
The overall goal of this position is to increase AViVA’s online visibility, improve website engagement, strengthen organic and local search rankings, generate qualified website traffic, increase customer interaction, and ultimately contribute to new leads and business growth.
Primary Responsibilities
----------------------------
Website Content \& SEO
- Create, edit, optimize, and publish SEO-focused website content using WordPress.
- Create posts targeting AViVA’s services, industries, customer needs, and geographic service areas.
- Follow established company SEO procedures when creating or updating content.
- Use Yoast SEO to optimize content for focus keyphrases, SEO titles, meta descriptions, URLs/slugs, readability, internal links, external links, images, headings, and other on-page SEO elements.
- Conduct basic keyword and topic research to identify potential content opportunities.
- Use appropriate geographic keywords to support AViVA’s local SEO strategy.
- Create and maintain internal links between blog posts, service pages, and location pages.
- Add appropriate authoritative external links when beneficial to the content.
- Optimize images using appropriate filenames, titles, captions, descriptions, and alternative text when applicable.
- Review existing website content and recommend updates or improvements when information becomes outdated or opportunities for better optimization are identified.
- Check published content for spelling, grammar, formatting, broken links, and other quality issues.
- Maintain consistency with AViVA’s branding, services, messaging, and company standards.
Social Media Marketing
- Create social media content based on AViVA website articles, services, promotions, and company activities.
- Repurpose website content into appropriate formats for AViVA’s social media platforms.
- Create posts that encourage users to visit relevant pages on the AViVA website.
- Include appropriate links, calls to action, hashtags, keywords, images, and geographic references when appropriate.
- Maintain consistent company branding and messaging across social media channels.
- Maintain an organized social media and content publishing calendar.
- Monitor basic engagement and identify content that performs particularly well or poorly.
Local SEO \& Google Business Profile
- Use Local Viking and other approved tools to support AViVA’s local SEO strategy.
- Create and schedule Google Business Profile posts based on website content, services, promotions, and other approved topics.
- Adapt content for specific cities, service areas, and geographic markets rather than simply duplicating identical content.
- Support AViVA’s visibility in targeted geographic areas.
- Monitor local search and Google Maps performance using available Local Viking reporting and tracking tools.
- Assist with maintaining accurate and consistent business information across AViVA’s online presence.
- Identify opportunities to improve individual AViVA market and location visibility.
Analytics \& Performance Tracking
- Use Google Analytics to monitor website traffic and user activity.
- Use Google Search Console to monitor Google search impressions, clicks, search queries, indexing, page performance, and other organic search information.
- Use Local Viking and other approved tools to monitor local search and Google Maps performance.
- Monitor which website posts, services, keywords, locations, and marketing campaigns are producing traffic and engagement.
- Track traffic generated from social media and other external sources.
- Monitor conversions and lead-generating actions when tracking is available, such as quote requests, contact-form submissions, phone calls, or other customer inquiries.
- Compare results over time to determine whether SEO and marketing activities are improving performance.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing completed work, website performance, SEO results, social media activity, local search performance, and notable trends.
- Use performance data to recommend changes to future content and marketing activities.
Research \& Continuous Improvement
- Research competitors and local search results to identify content and marketing opportunities.
- Monitor relevant changes and best practices involving SEO, Google Business Profile, social media, and digital marketing.
- Identify new content topics based on customer questions, services, search trends, and geographic opportunities.
- Test different content topics, headlines, calls to action, and posting strategies when approved.
- Document successful processes so they can be repeated across AViVA’s markets.
- Learn new digital marketing platforms and tools as they are introduced by the company.
Content Quality \& Brand Standards
--------------------------------------
All published material should accurately represent AViVA Cleaning Services and follow established company branding and marketing guidelines.
Content should be useful to potential customers and written for people first while also following appropriate SEO practices. The employee should avoid keyword stuffing, misleading claims, duplicate or low-quality content, spam-oriented SEO practices, or other techniques that could negatively affect the company’s reputation or search visibility.
Any AI-assisted content must be reviewed, fact-checked, edited, and approved according to company procedures before publication. The employee remains responsible for the accuracy and quality of material published through company accounts.
Qualifications

Previous professional SEO experience is not required. Training will be provided on AViVA’s SEO procedures and digital marketing strategy.
The ideal candidate should:

- Have good written communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Be organized and capable of managing multiple ongoing tasks.
- Be willing and able to learn WordPress, Yoast SEO, Local Viking, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, and other marketing tools.
- Be able to follow established procedures and checklists.
- Be comfortable reviewing data and learning how marketing activity affects business performance.
- Be able to work independently after receiving appropriate training and direction.
- Demonstrate creativity while maintaining company branding and standards.
Performance Expectations
----------------------------
Performance may be evaluated using a combination of productivity, quality, consistency, and marketing results. Measurements may include:
- Website content created and published.
- Completion of required SEO elements.
- Social media and Google Business Profile posting consistency.
- Accuracy and quality of published content.
- Organic website traffic.
- Google Search impressions and clicks.
- Keyword and local search visibility.
- Social media referral traffic and engagement.
- Website conversions and qualified leads.
- Performance of individual service and location pages.
- Completion of scheduled marketing activities.
- Accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
SEO and search rankings can be affected by factors outside the employee’s direct control. Performance should therefore be evaluated based on both measurable results and the quality and consistency of the work performed.
Position Development
------------------------
This position is intended to grow with the employee’s knowledge and demonstrated abilities.
As the employee becomes proficient in SEO, content development, analytics, local search optimization, social media marketing, and performance reporting, the employee may be given greater responsibility for independently planning and executing AViVA’s digital marketing strategy.
Successful development in the position may provide an opportunity for advancement into roles such as Digital Marketing Specialist, SEO \& Digital Marketing Specialist, or Digital Marketing Manager.
